Remote Lessons Now Available
Matthew is now offering on-line lessons using Zoom, an the internet platform that allows a virtual face to face learning experience. Students can connect to their lesson in the safety of their home using Zoom on a home computer, tablet or phone. Remote lessons are being offered to eliminate the possibility of transfer of the COVID 19 virus at music lessons.
Lessons are conducted on-line using a combination of resources, including existing music books and handouts and new resources that will be made available through a student login page on this site. Students will be issued a login name and password to allow access to the download pages on this site. The new resources can then be downloaded and printed from home. If you don't have facilities at home to download and print material from the internet, contact Matthew and he will make sure copies are posted to you.
Detailed instructions on logging into zoom and accessing the student area on this site will be sent to each student.
Parents of younger students need to be aware that parental supervision will probably be required during on-line lessons to assist students with the learning process and ensure that students remain focused on the tasks at hand. Older students may also require supervision although the level of parental intervention will vary depending on the student.
